So once again, i have changed who I am going to cosplay for Detour. I have decided that I'm going as Toph instead of Nurse Joker...a very TALL Toph. Mostly because im too lazy to put face paint on lol. I tried to pick something that would be a little easier on my budget (Satella cost a ton of bloody money!) and a little easier to make for me (my mom wanted to shoot me over Satella). Toph should be fairly low key...except for her insane hair. But I think i have a good idea on how to do it. To bad i need a wig AGAIN (no way can my hair do that. its too short). And this year I'm only going to do one cosplay instead of two. Make life easier for me and my roommates who complained that i took an hour in the bathroom to get satella on. Her hair took up most of the time! Anyways...
My christmas was good. I got pretty much everything i wanted. I got a keyboard (I've been really into playing piano lately), a blanket, $50 card to borders (got the entire season of Escaflowne, an Avatar DVD, and a renaisance period cd which i love to bits), Ouran High School DVDs, random Avatar DVD, Breakfast Club, and pretty amazing scarf, and a gas card. My bro got an Xbox. I was pretty excited at first not because i wanna play it but because i thought that that meant i could have the PS2 in my room. Nope. He doesn't wanna fork it over. So i'm gonna ask for a used one for my bday.
I got in ANOTHER car accident. This one was pretty nasty. Stupid black ice. Slipped and ran into a gaurd rail. Anyways, to make a long story short, if we turned it into the insurence, it would have been declared totaled. Mom was definatly not happy with me.
I've been an artsy mood lately (kinda) and have updated my deviantart account. Unfortunatly, ive been completly blocked in the fanfiction department. SON OF A B!
Went to see Marley & Me. That has our yellow lab Tanner written all over it. Except Tanner thankfully is more well behaved. But yea i dont like sad movies but i obviously set myself up for that one at the end. Sobbed like a friggen baby along with the rest of ppl in the theater. I want to write a book like that. Maybe i'll write it about my horses. They're weird enough.
Made it through my first quarter at Brown quite successfully. Got an A, A, and a B. I consider that quite an accomplishment.
